The Junior International Music Festival, often shortened JIMF, or Junior IMF, is a song contest on Youtube held among the members of the International Broadcasting Union since November 2016 and is inspired by the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The contest is the junior pendant for the International Music Festival.
Each country's head of delegation gets to select an entry for each edition either by internal or national selection. Then the countries get to vote for each show (semi-final and final) to determine the qualifiers and the winner of each edition.
History[]
On 19 November 2016, the IBU officially announced the new competition. Every full member of the IBU could submit one representant.
Logo and theme[]
The general logo, which was created by a Belgian team, was introduced in the firstedition.
